"As one gets older one sees many more paths that could be taken. Artists sense within their own work that kind of swelling of possibilities, which may seem a freedom or a confusion."

Kim Klassen's latest texture "Confusion" seems to fit my state of mind lately. I was thinking I was getting old, but now I see it as to too many paths to take.

What a gorgeous edit!
That hover feature in your blog is too cool (old/new). I like what you did with the texture!
Love this photo. I have been trying unsuccessfully to grow lilacs in my yard for twelve years now. :(
Also, thanks for the link to the aurora watch site - how handy! I'm going to see if there's a watch for the Dawson Creek area!
How beautiful; i love the depth of you colors. ;)
thanks for the mouseover! this is one of my favorite flowers, and i really miss them since i moved to the west coast. you chose the perfect texture for bringing out the light in this photo : )
*sigh* -- lovely!
Gorgeous lilac and texture treatment! I really can identify with the 'confusion' and I so appreciate you explaining that it is only because we have so much we want to do :)
Agree with your sentiment! I love both photos - before and after. Lovely shot.
