Texture Tuesday Lilacs

"As one gets older one sees many more paths that could be taken. Artists sense within their own work that kind of swelling of possibilities, which may seem a freedom or a confusion." Jasper Johns

Kim Klassen's latest texture "Confusion" seems to fit my state of mind lately. I was thinking I was getting old, but now I see it as to too many paths to take.

Hover over with your mouse and you'll see the before and after.

That hover feature in your blog is too cool (old/new). I like what you did with the texture!

Love this photo. I have been trying unsuccessfully to grow lilacs in my yard for twelve years now. :(
Also, thanks for the link to the aurora watch site - how handy! I'm going to see if there's a watch for the Dawson Creek area!

Gorgeous lilac and texture treatment! I really can identify with the 'confusion' and I so appreciate you explaining that it is only because we have so much we want to do :)
