Last week did bring some good news. I joined a group on Flickr, 52 in 2014 where each week has a theme and voting for your favorites Week one's theme was Abstract and my Bubbles placed in the #3 spot.
Week # 2 ending, today, here's my entry for Bokeh. This was taken with a lens baby composer and 4x macro filter. The shaped bokeh is done with the lensbaby bokeh kit and a tin foil background.
It's been nice getting back into photography. The past few years I've done a 365 with it slipping during the past year. With family, work and life getting in the way I hoping this 52 group will get me shooting again. I hope you all had a good week and next week is even better. Thanks for stopping in.

I'm working on getting back into the photography as well. I've joined the 52 in 2014 group, too, but have not yet posted anything. It's been such a crazy time since the beginning of the year (and it's only two weeks into it). I went out this afternoon with the camera for a walk around the state park which is just a few miles from my home. It was a beautiful day. I didn't really get any creative images--but I spent the time getting reacquainted with the camera.
Good for you to have found a project that works for you and gets you shooting again. Congrats. on the number three spot. Hope it is another great week this week.

Susan, I am a big abstract fan and this is magnificent work. I'm glad it is being recognized. And the bokeh work is amazing. I've never been one for 365s or 52s; I shoot a lot, but in spurts ;-) but I like the 52 idea best, with a theme. I hope you keep sharing your great work!
Those bubbles are amazing. I think the red really makes it a zinger. I just started taking a Lens baby class. I love the apple one too.
